This past week we started our plant and life cycle science.
The bulletin boards are already screaming spring!
Between our ode to literacy and reading….
…and our Sunny Sunflowers…
…and the 80 degree weather… (I’m sorry snow day friends)… Winter seems like it must be in the past. (Much to my husbands disappointment.)
These are not sunflowers just for sunflowers sake – each plant part includes the students’ notes about that part’s job in a plant’s life. This is one of the few bulletin board items I put up that isn’t all about writing. It’s truly effective in driving home the standard AND creating a beautiful, cheery work environment!
