This week, the kiddos are going to make their parent gifts.
I seriously LOVE how these little wreath ornaments turn out. They aren’t hard to make and last forever. It’s shredded wheat cereal that makes them look like real foliage.
The company that does our school pictures give us teachers a couple of sheets of student photo stickers! So, that’s what I use on these… but you could use any picture.
Last year I did a post on how to make them. You can find it HERE
We are continuing our study of holiday customs around the world this week.
Since our social studies standard is for students to be aware of diversity and the variety of customs that exist, this unit works out well and no one can complain about doing “Christmas” stuff at school. We do it all. The kids really enjoy learning about people all over our globe. 🙂
Here are my plans for the week. If you click the picture you will be able to see an enlarged version.
for a downloadable interactive copy. I have included links to the various units I am using this week. Leave me a comment if you download it so I know if I should keep putting up my plans. 🙂
