Classroom Views LINKY PARTY!
One of my MOST favorite things to do is look at all the classroom set ups that all of you bloggers and Pinterest pinners post. I love visiting the classrooms of friends old and new. I always find new ideas that I JUST HAVE to figure out how to incorporate.
Here are some views of my class. Some parts I love, some I really hope to change. We can’t make things as colorful anymore since the fire dept. comes in and checks every single year to make sure that there isn’t too much paper or fabric on the walls and to ensure there is the proper clearance between said items and the ceiling. I’m still breaking a few rules with what I have up, but the inspectors have been kind.
Each month has it’s own theme designed around one of our social studies or science standards. September was responsibility and character. The table groups are identified with a “marker” hanging above each that has to do with the month’s theme. In September, we had the “Kind Apples, Helpful Books, Respectful Crayons and Friendly Stars”. The bulletin boards usually reflect the theme… however it’s a little “loose” in September because I include a summer bulletin board and a Mouse Paint science and writing board as well. In October the room changed to represent our Habitats theme and the corresponding table markers changed as well. I’ll try to put up some (less blurry) pics of the changes on another post.
I’d love to see some pics of your rooms. Link your post of class pics below.
Anyway… here is what it looked like in September:
